Principal/Owner

Michelle Eichinger, Ph.D., has over 20 years of experience in comprehensive public health and urban planning practices and policies including progressive leadership and administration. Her expertise and extensive experience in food systems, data science, climate change and resiliency, environmental justice, health in the built environment, community health, interdisciplinary stakeholder engagement, and community participation. She is skilled in grant writing and epidemiological methods, including mixed-method design, quantitative, qualitative, and spatial analysis. Her research and analysis emphasize people-and place-based policies and interventions with an equity lens. Michelle is a confident and passionate community leader in improving community health through a cross-sectoral approach in equitable interventions and public policy. Michelle has a Master of Science in Health Promotion, a Master of Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Planning, Design and the Built Environment. She is also a National Science Foundation Research Traineeship Fellow in Resilient Infrastructure and Environmental Systems.

Interdisciplinary Approach

Educating people about healthy behaviors is not enough if one’s personal circumstances and the context of where one lives do not support the public health messages.
